Paul, the Olde English Bulldogges can work and they are explosive like I stated just not for long periods of time.. impressive dogs in a super tight compact body.

ACE, BTW the dogs on that pic dont look that bad at all actually but I still dont get how that would have been directed at me 6 mths ago or what that would mean to me. I guess it is just one of your intellectual quips that I just will never be able to grasp with my slow city education, up bringing and dim wits.

Thanks for the link Bradileiro Kid. Black Omen and Hugo are both good looking dogs. I thought "Loki" was awesome.

    Juan.
After reading a ton of post's. I just cant believe you even respond to this guy lol. Isn't their a way you can just mute him like an ignore button. That way his post wouldn't even be visible for you to see. Maybe the admin should make something like that. My advice.... DO NOT FEED THE TROLL! I'm not very old (30) But I just couldn't imagine being that immature to start sh*T with everything some one says. Wow his life must be boring lol. Where I'm from we respect each other and have a life and family and activities. Trust me dude it might help to get out and do something once in a while (not talking to you Juan)

lol, thanks Jake. He not a bad dude just a guy that was given bad info. unfortunatly, like many he has been treated like the magpie in which the parasitic cuckoo bird lays an egg in its nest, and when it hatches the magpie is tricked into rearing the young although it isnt the one it intended to raise. See, he is a good person as he protects what he believes to be the Fila Brasileiro. Just like the Magpie he was given a lil gift, the gift comes wrapped in a similar (but not exact) package of what he thought he wanted...the lil gift started growing and he fell in love with it but now the lil gift looks nothing like what he originally thought but love is blind (actually called kennel blindness for this example). No matter how insanely and obviously different the lil gift is from the intended it still looks the same to the magpie and it takes care of it and feeds it while it is destroying the real magpies. (BTW in this case cuckoos are unscrupulous breeders and the magpies are uninformed buyers)... the old bait and switch, lol.

the same thing happened to me. I take responsibility for not doing enough research and making a compulsive decision. However He is a great dog just not a great Fila that doesn't mean we don't all adore him cause we do. But he is not a real fila plain and simple. I have a hard time with people contaminating the breed. I saw that video you posted about dogs from the early 1900's to the same dogs now and it really pisses me off especially all the diseases and health problems to fit their stupid needs. If you don't like something about the breed get a different breed that fits your visual and physical needs its that easy don't get a breed and then alter it. these are beings not cars lol. Well peace man.

I'm in the center of the state... About 20 miles from Penn State University. Yea I got a real Fila from Brasil "Itanhandu" Funny thing is the Fila I got from Brasil was $1,300 with shipping to Philly. The Fake black Fila I got was from Tennessee and cost about $1,500 go figure lol. Is that where you got your female Maggie?? She produces some nice puppies. Also who is the father to the pups I saw on your porch in a youtube video?

Juan for once thank you. I had a bad day and that was funny as hell, you put a smile on my face. If your TSA patdown job falls thru I think you might have a career writing kids books.

Jake if you got a bad dog with a weak temperament I would recommend stating which kennel you got him from so others might think twice before making the same mistake. You might be shocked to know there are many black and dark brindle filas who are fearless, top notch specimens out there. And BTW Itanhandu does not have the best reputation, even with some CAFIB folk. Good and bad dogs come out of both camps.
