Moving away.
Good morning everyone, this year has been the most drastic year of my life, full of decisions to make, i own a bakery and because of the competition i am moving to another city. The new place that i purchased has no fence....and my dog is used to being out, now i am going to have to let him stay in the house until i manage to make a fence. Any suggestions? man im so frustrated... i also thought of building him a kennel, but that's the same as leaving him in the house... has anyone had to do this before?
Also, plans for the new female fila are off....

Hi Dario,
I'm sorry I can be of no help in your situation, but I hope it all works out for the best. I too won't be able to get my Fila until next year. Our property is fenced all around, but it is only 4.5 ft high. So next year I will get a fence that's at least 6 ft high. May your competition be few and far between, and if not, may their baked goods not be as delicious as yours. Good luck and may your business prosper.

Thanks dedei, my bakery has amazing quality and there i will have little to no competition. All that i can pray for is for me to manage to make a large enough fence as fast as possible.

get the 6' stockade fences....all you have to do is dig the holes and screw the sections to the posts, you can do that yourself! save yourself some time by renting one of those big drill type hole diggers...$35 bucks for 4 hrs and you are halfway done! Too easy. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Juan, good idea... im not sure if they have that same thing here in brazil. but im going to look for that. thx

no problem. if you guys have something similar to 'home depot" over there they will have it for rent if not just look for a post digger, I found a lil video for you so you could see how easy it is: http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/vide...045323,00.html
here is a gas one: http://www.drillspot.com/products/52..._powerhead?s=1
They have electric ones if your dirt is really soft...let me tell you bro, these things will cut your work in half! well worth it if you can rent one or if you think you have more uses for it later on then buy it flat out.
How I did mine is I made the hole a little wider so I could throw some cement in there as well to make it a little more sturdy. depending on the size of the property this should probably take about 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 days if you do it yourself and faster if you have some friends that can help and take turns digging them holes.
Good luck

another suggestion is finding a crew working on the srteets doing repairs and asking them if they can come by and do the holes for ya and throw them a hundred bucks....they got the good stuff and can get it done in under an hour. Make sure you have the areas measured out and marked of for them before they come so you dont waste their time.

All good ideas, i will try. dude my dog got sick today, took him to the vet... the vet couldnt even come near him, but at least we manage to take care of him. he didnt eat all day.. and pooped blood. gave him medicine and multi vitamins and so on... vets charge so much that i almost had a heart attack.

get your dog used to wearing a muzzle for situations just like that...I have no idea what could be wrong, I hope you figure it out and it passes w/o too much discomfort for the dog and on your pockets.

well yeah, today he still didnt want to eat his chicken quarters, but im giving him multi vitamins in liquid form, vet said it will raise his energy and make him feel hungry.
