lol paul thats cheap. Here it's really expensive, So youc an have an idea in Brazil a School teacher (me) makes about R$6,00 an hour. The chicken quarters are about R$5,50 lbs, the organs are R$2,80 per lb, meaty bones they estimate how much meat theres on the bone and charge R$8,50 per lb.

OUCH, that is expensive. You will need to find a slaughterhouse and buy in bulk and then freeze it to use as needed. Wow, that is really expensive.

lol yup! theres a good slaughterhouse about 15 miles away, the only problem is that they only sell in bulk, that is a quarter of the animal or a half... id be spending like R$650,00 that i dont have. So ill have to stick to feeding raw and buying little by little. Also! the average kibble costs R$4,00 and a better one such as purina, or golden is about R$9,00 the pound.

Time for you to go hunting or trapping or both. Don't you have those giant rats down there. Capebora or something, they live near water. Wild chickens can work but they tend to be very skinny with thick bones. Even if you don't hunt maybe you can find some hunters and go along for the meat. A lot of hunters only take/want the prime cuts. You might need to get a part time job at the slaughterhouse to get the inside price. Befriend a big dog breeder and see if you can join in on their bulk food purchases, advertise to other dog owners and put together your own group of people to make some bulk purchases, go to dog shows and see if people want to get together for bulk purchases..........If you lived closer to me I would give you my contacts for meat. I share that kind of stuff.

Nice dude!!! why didnt i think of that? Hey do filas make good hunters? it would be nice to teach him to hunt. Chickens would be the easiest choice, but the problem is that most of them have owners lol, but their just like the dogs, all lose... hahahha im just gonna grab one, i just dont know how to clean them, is it possible to give a chicken with feathers or do i have to clean it? Argh, capeboras arent hard to find, but i dont have a rifle to kill it and i think its under protection since theyre an in danger species, BTW they arent giant rats lol. My easiest bet is to try to buy straight from the producers, i have a business so i can buy to sell, maybe i can get a better price.
