    Hello everybody

I'm from Romania and I want to buy a Fila puppies. Until now I've had Amstaff and English Bulldog. My questions is: Fila is a harder or a easier race to keep in house. I have a little backyard too but I don't like to keep my doggie out...approx. 6 month/ year is winter or like winter
Which are the most common problems with Fila regarding dog care ?
    Thank you !

I have small property and my dogs stay in the house all the time...filas adapt well as long as you give them exercise. When people come over my house the fila will be put in a section of the house where cant come in contact with strangers or locked up in her crate. as far as care...not hard just need to be responsible that they dont bite anyone, feed good food and plenty or exercise. btw I have a friend going to Romania in a few days...he is originally from Romania.

    Hello Brasileirokid and many thanks.
    Another two things please:
    - about Fila coat care: there is big problems with maintenance ?
    - about Fila puppies: from which age can recognize a good and real temperament ?
Asking because I don't want to buy a simple pet !!!

I'm glad that you are friend with a romanian boy ! Where he live in Romania ?

    Hey Tora,

Fila coats are pretty easy to take care of but in colder climates like in Romania or like in New York in my instance the filas develop an under coat and shed heavily 2 times a year...some extra brushing during those 2 times and maybe an extra bath is all that is needed.
with fila puppies it varies with bloodlines and each individual dog. the puppies that I just had have shown proper fila temperament at 3 months as did some in my last litter and they all showed proper temp by 6 months of age. females tend to show ojeriza earlier than males do in my opinion.
If you want a good fila with a proper temperament I suggest that you see both parents in person or at least see videos of the parents temperament. while that may not guarantee that your pup will have proper temperament it should give you a good chance at it.
I am not 100% sure where he lived before but he is in the Army with me and when I see him again I will ask him.

    Hi Brasileirokid,
    I have a situation now
I find a breeder in Hungary who have a female pupiie for sale. The problem is that her's parents are brothers !!
It's a normal situation to sell puppies from cosangvinisation ? If parents are good, puppie could have a good character but it's possible a reverse situation isn't it ?

What do you think about ?
    Thanks

    hey Tora,

Are the parents littermates? meaning are both parents from the same litter? if so then i would stay away from something like that just because of the possible bad outcomes....could it be possible that good dogs come out of it? yes but i wouldnt chance it myself. no pedigrees and looks like sharpeis??? back yard breeder, stay away.

    Hello Kid,
Please tell me how can I recognize a good temperament (ojeriza) in a puppie ? I mean how to choose a correct puppie ? I'm afraid to fail....
