I have a beautiful new fila pup from Carioca Filas in N. Carolina. Yukon is a 4 mo. old pup with a great temperment. We got him a month ago for my mother; but she has had a medical change that will no longer allow her to take him. We are having to place our 11 yr. old male with another family member and cannot keep this beautiful pup.
Yukon is friendly with our cat and lab, but he shows the right fila temperment with strangers. In the 3 weeks we've had him, he has taken to his crate, is 90% house trained (a work in progress) and is swimming in the Chattahootchee river in Atl, GA on the weekends. He is a pup from Carioca Filas ... son of Sire: Carioca's Urso Vermelho and Dam: Dinda da Boa Sorte. Born Feb 28th. Since our family tragedy, Carioca Filas has graciously agreed to let others know that we have a pup that we cannot keep. We are sad that my mother nor we can keep him. He should be with his permanent family while he is young, we know. That's why we are happy to sell him for $700 if that means he will go to a good home. (We paid $1K for him in June). Papers are coming, and Carioca Filas is a reputable breeder that breeds quality filas.

We really want this pup to get to a new family and bond while he's still young -- especially as he's beginning to show his fila nature now.

Hurrah! We found a new home for Yukon. He went to a nice family in Portland which has a 13mo. old female fila and lots of acres to run around on -- just what he needs. And he got a girlfriend to boot. Thank you to all who referred folks to me !! Heath and Marjorie.
