Hey from Michigan!!
My name is Stephanie and we live near Ann Arbor Michigan. I am married and have 2 cats along with Leo our Corso. No kids.
We lost our beloved Fila Titus 2 years ago to brain cancer, he was 8. We miss him alot and are thinking of getting another one very soon. We have a Corso right now - he's the happiest dog I've ever seen - he's so optimistic!! (But not the best watchdog)So anyway, I have been searching the internet looking for another Fila - what an ordeal! I would love to have another one with the Camping bloodline - if possible. The ideal dog we are looking for will come from a reputable breeder, not a puppy mill. I expect the parents to be OFA'd / Pennhip'd, the breeder should show and know the standard. Breeding for the sole purpose of improving the breed not to make a buck. We want a breed/pet quality dog - it will be altered when I get it, prefer a male, color - preferably black (husbands one request).
We have a fenced yard and loving home. We are very aware of the Fila and what it means to have one, also the responsibility to have one in my care.
I have thought about getting a rescue, but I don't think that avenue is for me at this time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Stephanie,
Take a look at www.delalunakennel.com and the available/placed dogs. Also the kennel page to see what there is. See what goes into training, testing and owning before you decide. Maybe you could call and talk.
Best,

Hi Dianna,
I did look at your site, but didn't see any black pups? That's the one thing my husband wants..... I know there are the CAFIB folks that don't "do" the blacks - went thru that whole thing when we got Titis. lol! I will take a look again though!
