Hi,
My names Amanda i am 24 years old and a mother of two. I have always loved large dogs, I ended up reading about the Fila and fell in love! I got River last year from little bear (lone wolf filas) and he is everything i've head/read about filas! I love him with all my heart and in a few months i will be buying a black female from lone wolf filas. I love the breed so much im looking in to showing/breeding. one day :0)

Hi Amanda,

River's a beautiful dog.


This was Luke our first Fila.
We got him as a pup in 1998 , Luke left us a couple of years ago but had a real good life.
That's great your getting a black Fila, you'll love them.

You should post some more pics of River when you can..

I was kinda curious since one of my dogs is from Lone Wolf, but is a bit younger than yours.

@Tobe Awe that's sad i will be so heart broken when River goes. Filas are by far the best dogs i have ever owned lol. After having them in my life i don't think i could own another breed of dog.
@Feddoc1 That's awesome! Rivers DOB is July/19/09 I wanted to start getting into dog shows and little bear lives not to far from me. she has such wonderful Filas.

Amanda, my dogs both love the snow and often (did in the past) would plant their noses in it and run...almost as if they were plowing the snow. She, the one I got from Joanie, loves to lay with her snout on my neck as she snores her way to sleep.
