New to the group

Just wanting to introduce myself. I absolutely love filas. I had working dogs for over 10 years and by far, the fila is the most devoted and best dog of any I have had the pleasure of working.
I am hoping to get a female pup, but I am very lost at the moment on what to do. Kim Ewalt was recommended and I was scammed out of a puppy that I paid for in full. Needless to say, I am very upset and don't know who to trust. I hate that I lost so much money that I could have paid to an honest breeder.....not to mention I really wanted a puppy most of all.
I hope I can at least meet some better fila people and maybe make some new connections in the breed.

Man, this is the worst thing. I hear stuff like this way too often. It is very important to visit all these forums to get a good idea of the breeders. who told you that this was a good breeder? If you go on FilaSlam (another fila forum) People will be more than happy to let you know who to stay away from...I dont know how this board is yet with letting its members badmouth puppy peddlers. Welcome aboard and I am sure we can help you find a good breeder, research the pedigree and get you your new best friend and protector.

I was taking the referral off of AIM Kennel's site. Basin Fila got their dogs from Eshabeta from what I remember. I have the canceled E-checks that were sent directly from my bank account to hers.
Still no dog.
Still no Kim Ewalt.

That's messed up, if you have the purchasing proof, go get your money back, if its close by i mean. Have you gotten in contact with the breeder? Welcome to the forums

Eshabeta is a good kennel. Kim is in Oregon, but won't return my calls.
