wow $400 for food... stop giving them 24 karat nuggets, lol. I am like you though, I spare no expense when it comes to my dogs I even hide the food bills and vet bill from the wife and pay for everything in cash so she doesn't see it. I got her x-rayed on her hips,elbows and patellas and i flew her down to Brazil to get CAFIB approved and to get bred (didnt take) then I did an AI with her (finally took, 9 pups), lol. My friends call her the million dollar dog so trust me I know what it is like. Now I got the dogs including the 9 pups in my house because it is just too damn hot to have them outside, they are my babies and if it too hot for me it is definitely too hot for them! Show pictures of you babies.

No, but not too long afte this pic, she tried to grab some low hanging fruit. He quit buggin her for a couple of hours.

My relationship with Oscar will never sour. The husband initially wanted to kill him but a threat to have him arrested for felony destructionof property(sad but true, I paid alot of money for my dog,plus the investment of training etc, kill the dog= felony) made him back off. The way I see it is Oscar has never even pretended to like his sons(13 and 9), which is why I kept them seperated for he past yr, they just are not very nice kids, make poor Oscar very nervous, bully my 2 older sons ( 9 and 7) and yell at my two infant sons (1 and 2 ) yrs old, fight amongst themselves, and yell at me all the time, his younger child has gone as far as to hit me, scratch me, curse at me etc, so although they have known Oscar since I got him, he knows they are not nice to me.I put it to my husband like this...would you let someone walk into your house and treat your "mom" like that??? Or your kids?? Since the bite incident, the older one has been alot better behaved and nicer to me, we have been getting along great, and now suddenly Oscar is no longer interested in eating him, he is even allowing the kid to pet him. I am willing to accept any advice you have to offer on training the kids, Oscar is very well trained it is my stepsons that cause the dog to detesr them.

It sounds like the problem isn't Oscar but those kids. Maybe Oscar can teach them some obedience and how to treat others (they treat him and you bad = he treats them bad) since it sounds like they need some. I would say send the kids to obedience school and give Oscar a bone since he is just doing his job and can sense their hostility towards you. Hope your family situation works out!
