Had Gus weighed at his round 3 shoits last week, 45lbs at 3 months... He looks like he has gained another 5 to 10lbs this week. He is almost as big as our Lab now lol! Obedience training round one (8 weeks) is almost over then on to another 8 week training, and then to tracking training, we are looking at volunteer search and recovery here in Houston if he does well.

Pretty color on your boy. I could only open one view from each link, I'm not the brightest bulb on the lamp :)

CLAP/CLAP/CLAP on the obedience, keep up the work. The only tracking training I've found here in Sacramento is Schitzhund (sp?), and we decided not to go that way. Please post what steps are in the class when he goes through it, I would be interested in trying it solo if you share.

Will definitely let you know how the tracking goes. Our trainer specializes in Shitzhund (sp lol), so we will let you know. He is amazed at him every time he comes to train him because of how big he has gotten in such a small timeframe, and for the fact that he trains all dogs but has primarily trained standard breeds and has never been around a fila before.

Great trainer though, all training is done at the house here which is cool, we'll have to go to him for tracking though. Oh well, life is good when you have a great dog lol!!!

Took me three dogs and three different trainers to find the school I go to now. They are worth their weight in gold when you find them!
