I have a friend that has a black male looking for a home but he's 2. He is one of Lone Wolf Fila's.
If interested let me know I will contact the lady that has him.

yeah, some people do...I remember the first time I seen Lionsden website, my first thought was that it reminded me of a puppymill. Not saying they are, never dealt with em before personnally and dont plan on it. but I do know what people have said regarding them.

Well it seems to have started ,the over population of what started out as a diamond in the ruff, problems are many solutions are few..what has to happen now.I dont see any organizations voicing any kind of opinion..wonder why could be there sellin em like hot cakes also.next will be Fila's for half price no papers but you have to promise not to breed ,,i do i do i do,,, mine if i get a girl too hey no problem i mean you did promise .There you go another future breeder,,,sorry iam sometimes tackless.hey might as well get the AKC in on the deal too,,maybe dress em up in some pretty little bows an walk em thru the dog park.exactly what happened to pit bulls.Least they got there own tv show.

alpha, that day is here already. Someone that was researching the breed was telling me that they saw 3 fila breeders in BK...3? for real? no papers, females over 175 lbs, male was allowed to hang out because he was "cool with people" $500 for "brown males" $650 for "black males", females $900.......ARGHHHHHHH WTF????????!

I guess I can't really say anything on that Alpha, I got my fila without having to purchase papers and breeding rites. I signed a contract to have her fixed once she is old enough 15mths -3yrs old. She was for pet quality, I could have paid the 2k for papers and breeding but I knew I wasn't ready for breeding fila's yet....maybe in a few years and more exp under my belt I will get the papered dog for breeding, and only sell to deserving families/buyers who want to do good for the breed.

dude your post sez exactly why you dont fit the bill you dont want to breed your dog, plus you sound like your in this for love .people dont understand you dont make a lot of money breeding dogs, ask any breeder. its not paperless dogs that are the problem, its unresponsible owners and i doubt your one of those.plus your here almost every day and i assume its to learn more about this great dog,my hat has always been off to you .trust me ive read all your post its not aimed at you,its aimed at the person with 1 1/2 posts tagging on the shirt tail of people that love this breed.

X2, agree^^^^^^^...I can tell you from experience that if you breed the right way you will lose money. 1, if you breed it is because you want something from that litter (that means you shouldnt be selling them all). 2nd if you are breeding then you should only do so with 2 show quality animals (stud fee money or pup back) which means even less $$$ then with microchipping, shots, worming care for the female before and after pregnancy....you will be lucky if you make your money back from a breeding but more than likely you will lose money... the only way to make money is to have multiple litters a year, lil to no health care for mother and pups, and sell every pups you find, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Who makes money?! I think that I've paid for two college tuitions, and a house (or maybe two) over 15 years with one litter to show for it. Hopefully their hips will match what I see of their brain power. If we as a whole can demonstrate the brain power of the Fila, we can share with so many, an ultimate companion. It is a hard row to how. But I know many Fila owners that train, test and love their Filas so much that it makes a heart grow to see it. Have faith all, there is a lot to we owners who do what is best for the breed. HAVE FAITH!

preciate it ya'll, I definitely am against dirt merchants who breed substandard for a quick buck or puppymills cuz even they dont carefully choose breedings and match families with pups and what not. I got a Johnson American Bulldog thats 5 yrs old, sure I couldve bred her and sold the pups easily like alot of people have done with the AB breed but instead I got her fixed cuz I'm not ready to breed dogs, if I ever do it....who knows, I might just buy a bunch and let em run around on my land just so I know they have a good home and family.

I think Eshabeta is your best bet for a fila outside of CAFIB.

I would even recommend waiting for the puppy.

However - I would highly advise against a puppy from ANY of the black dog kennels in Brazil -

The proof is out there if you look for it.

It's always like that! And even when you give ADVISE or INFORMATION as per requested they either don't listen or
confront you on it! Keep that guys name in mind tho - bc we're gonna be hearing from him..

yea, I know..I am sure we will with the usual "damn man I should've listened, I feel so stupid" call requesting more info on a good breeder.
