A few months ago, I took in a handsome, black Fila who needed a new home. Jake came to me as a shy boy who didn't trust anyone. He thought everyone was going to hit him as he had been abused by his previous owners. A kind lady had taken him from that abusive situation but couldn't keep him so he came to live with me. In a few short months, he has really come out of his shell. He is an amazing boy! He is approximately a year and a half old. He loves other dogs. He loves to play and cuddle. He now greets strangers instead of cowering behind me. I love Jake very much but my 11-year-old dog is not willing to accept another large dog and keeps causing fights with him. Jake is a lover not a fighter. Jake deserves a family with a large yard and plenty of love for him. While he enjoys his time outside playing, he is used to being inside too. He is not an outside only dog. Nobody has told him that's he's a big boy. He thinks he's a lap dog! LOL! I am only interested in someone who is willing to keep him forever. He needs to find his final home. He has been neutered and is current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. A homecheck and a vet reference check will be required. There will be an adoption contract as well to ensure that if a situation arrives where you cannot keep him that he is returned to me and is not taken to a shelter. If you are in or around the Los Angeles area and can provide Jake with a forever home, please contact me at punky03@yahoo.com. Pictures and video can be sent via email. Thanks!
